Hope Exploding
This morning in prayer the Lord brought hope to my mind. He asked the question where do we place our hope? As a nation of believers, Christ followers, do we put our hope in Him or in this world? I started weeping for the way I see our hearts become so discouraged for this country. A lot of times our words reflect small ways we have placed our hope in this world and the state of our nation. When we only focus on the heavy and dark, what does He say? He gave me the prayer ” let us live like our hope is in You, let that be what is reflected in our lives and words.”
“Father, I want more of Your tears.
Today the streams were never ending. Every word that
was true beat in my heart and brought a
wellspring from my eyes. Void of emotions
of my own ,but hope exploding inside.
Weeping in the name of Love, the
one I call Home. “
